Key stage 2 learnt all about Robotics this Thursday. An expert came into the school and explained how robots are becoming fairly common in our daily lives. He showed the children that robots are being developed all the time and during our lifetimes they will continue to take over more and more human activities. Children thought about the advantages and disadvantages of this robotic future. They were then able to control different robots to make them complete tasks requiring precision and accuracy and they experimented and played with some of the other robots. All the children really enjoyed the sessions which were great fun, but they also gave children an insight into the important role that Robotics will play in all our futures.
