Autumn Concert Celebration!
This week we held our two annual Autumn Music Concerts—and what a fantastic showcase of talent they were! With over 35 children performing, we had so many enthusiastic young musicians that we needed two nights to celebrate them all.
There are no shortcuts when learning an instrument. It takes patience, perseverance, and a lot of practice. So a BIG WELL DONE to all our wonderful performers for their commitment and courage on stage. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you!
A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated peripatetic music teachers, whose passion and hard work make these moments possible every week:
Mrs Annabel Wibberley – class music, piano, recorder, voice
Mrs Katherine Crowley – flute, recorder, clarinet, saxophone
Mr Ashley Hards – guitar
Mrs Celia Barstow – piano
Miss Katie Slowgrove – piano and voice
Mrs Melissa High – violin and piano
Mr Tom Thiselton – brass
Our school is proud to nurture creativity, confidence, and a love of the performing arts. Seeing so many children embrace music so wholeheartedly is a wonderful reminder of the power of the arts in education.
Well done, everyone — we can’t wait for the next performance!
