Year 5 & 6 Explore Victorian Tunbridge Wells

This week, Y5 and Y6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to The Amelia Scott in Tunbridge Wells. After a fun train ride from Wadhurst, they took part in a brilliant Victorian workshop, exploring Queen Victoria’s connection to the town.

Children handled real Victorian artefacts, from irons to butter paddles, and investigated their uses. They also explored the centre’s fascinating displays about the Victorian era and the town’s development.

A steep walk back to school from the station finished off a fun, fact-filled day (with no passing parent-taxis in sight!).
