Y1 Pentecost Assembly

In our Year One assembly, we shared the important story of Pentecost with our friends and families. We explained how Jesus promised to send a special helper, the Holy Spirit, who gave the disciples the courage to go out and spread the Good News.

We know, for that reason, Pentecost is the birthday of the Church. We enjoyed retelling the story, acting it out, saying special prayers, singing and dancing, all in honour of this very special Church celebration.
