Children in Year 5 had a fabulous morning on Wednesday at the ‘Science Spectacular’ event at Mayfield School for Girls - in Chemistry they used chemicals to produce different coloured flames - like mini fireworks. In ICT they used micro:bits to write their own name tags, they searched for mini bugs in Biology and enjoyed the experience of seeing the stars and planets in the Planetarium.
