We finally had to play in the 3rd/4th play-offs Sacred Heart vs Gate House: 1-1 after full time and also after extra time. So it was down to penalties. The first round was tied, so the last stage went to ‘sudden death’ penalties. Despite a huge effort, the team lost the match, putting them 4th in the Bowl which means Sacred Heart finished 20th in the country. All the boys did the school proud and could not have given more, or played better. Congratulations to the whole team for amazing play and their attitude throughout the day. The boys were also very lucky to meet Darren Harris an outstanding Paralympian and England blind Footballer who has made 162 International appearances for GB with 10 world and 7 European medals.
