Everyone had a wonderful day celebrating books on Thursday. For the first time, we had a book sale of second-hand books to raise money for Book Aid International; the proceeds will be added to the contributions children brought into school for being able to dress up as their favourite characters. This year there seemed to be an even wider variety than ever.

In their classes, throughout the day, the children enjoyed a variety of book-related activities including sharing stories, designing book covers and taking part in quizzes. There were some fantastic costumes and creative ideas for wooden spoon character puppets too. A very big thank you to all the parents for their support with costumes and charitable donations.
