A simple thing like a global pandemic was not going to get in the way of our Feast Day Celebrations! We started our day with a Zoom Liturgy, uniting the Sacred Heart family at home and at school as we reflected on the love that gives us life and makes us a community. Mrs Bradford and Dean led us in music making as we were joined by parents, pupils, staff and governors. We were excited and delighted to welcome Bishop Richard who helped us to understand the special meaning of today and shared with us a feast day blessing. We all joined in with a favourite hymn before dispersing to enjoy our traditional ice lollies at break-time and picnic lunch. I think we squeezed in a bit of work too! Happy Feast Day, thank you to all who contributed to our special liturgy and remember – it’s all about the LOVE!
