The children in Year 2 have been SUPER SCIENTISTS! They each planted a Sunflower and a Gladioli to compare the growth of a seed and a bulb. They kept a diary over 5 weeks, comparing the two plants and observing, measuring and recording the growth. They then used their measurements to create a bar graph. As the 4th week of growth coincided with the half term break, the children were able to extrapolate the information from their bar graphs to estimate how tall their plant was in week 4!
