Two days. One wild adventure. A lifetime of memories!

Y5 swapped the classroom for the great outdoors as they headed off on an unforgettable woodland residential!

From mastering camouflage and survival skills to tackling the art of trap making, there was adventure around every corner. The children got creative too, using clay from a nearby river to make their own creations and learning how to weave colourful bracelets.

And then came the magic…

Sleeping under canvas, exploring the woods, playing in the bivouacs they had built themselves, singing around the campfire and enjoying precious time together in such a peaceful and beautiful setting.

The children challenged themselves, tried new things, supported one another and discovered just how much they were capable of. Most importantly, they made memories that will stay with them for years to come.

A huge well done to our Y5 adventurers! We couldn’t be prouder of the fantastic ambassadors you were for our school. The residential leaders were full of praise for your behaviour, kindness and the way you interacted with both adults and your friends.

What an adventure! What a team! What memories!
