Y1 Pentecost Assembly

In our Y1 assembly, we shared the important story of Pentecost, the birthday of the Church, with our friends and families. We explained how Jesus promised to send a special helper, the Holy Spirit, who gave the disciples the courage to go out and spread the Good News.

We enjoyed retelling the story, acting it out, saying special prayers, singing and dancing, all in honour of this very special Church celebration. We happily volunteered to eat the Pentecost birthday cake afterwards!
