Children in Y6 spent a busy and exciting time at Bowles on their residential trip.
They took part in eight hours of adventurous activities each day including orienteering, a night walk with some very exciting games along the way, singing around the campfire whilst toasting marshmallows, skiing and rock climbing as well as tackling ‘Jacobs’ Ladder’ and ‘The Leap of Faith’.
On the final day, we went to a lake where children kayaked and had fun being pirates on paddleboards. Quite a few managed to find themselves overboard!
We are so proud of how each child challenged himself, or herself over the weekend to take part in all the activities. They were energetic, enthusiastic and such fun to be with. Well done and thank you, Year 6 – we hope you’re proud of yourselves too!
