Jaws and Claws come to visit!
Children in Foundation Stage, KS1 and Lower KS2 had a visit from some special visitors. Handler Phil introduced us to several rainforest animals, talking through which area of the world they originate from, what they eat and their predators. Amongst the animals were hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, tortoises, a milk snake named Ben, and a giant African land snail named Frank.
We were very lucky to touch or handle each of them, which was a great end to the Year 3 rainforest topic and a wonderful encounter for others throughout the school!
