Emily Craig, Olympic Gold Medalist visits

On Tuesday, the whole school enjoyed an assembly with Emily Craig, British Lightweight Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time World Champion Rower, a Crowborough local and Mayfield School alumna.

Lots of great questions were asked by the children and some even tried on the Gold Medal for themselves.

Many of the children were given an opportunity to try their hand at rowing on a rowing machine kindly brought in by Mr Warwick. Perhaps we have some future Olympians in the making?
