Children throughout the School had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day.

They read and recommended stories to one another, made bookmarks and designed book covers. They even wrote character profiles. The day was made even more special by the fantastic African Storyteller, Usifu Jalloh, who took the children on a magical journey in a peanut shell all around the world, finally arriving in Sierra Leone to visit his Grandmother who told us the story of a rich man and his beautiful daughter.

The story was interactive and funny! Thank you to everyone who came dressed up and donated money to Book Aid International.
