The Music Department hosted its Autumn Music Evening on Tuesday 14th November.

The concert at 5pm featured all our budding performers in Y1, Y2 and Y3, while the 6pm concert was made up of musicians from Y4, Y5 and Y6. In total we had 45 children performing for friends and family.

We heard everything from vocal performances to electric and classical guitar, piano, violin, flute, recorder and clarinet. Both concerts were a great success and we were treated to some beautiful and moving performances from the children. The courage and determination, as well as hard work, it takes to perform is a reminder that nothing worthwhile is ever quickly achieved. A polished performance is only the tip of the iceberg. It takes commitment and discipline to stick to the challenge so a very well done to all the children who performed.
