Our tradition each year is to finish our final morning of term with the whole school Carol Service led by Y6 who tell the story through narrative, tableaux and song. The story is retold, interspersed with musical contributions from each class to make it a whole school celebration. This means the church is packed to the rafters with children, parents and friends of the school so that, with communal singinging, we all leave the church on a joyful cloud! This year, we have instead had to film the nativities and Carol Service in the school hall. Although different, the magic is still there and once edited, the recordings will be almost as enchanting and captivating as the live performances always are.
