This year we have all been working hard to expand our Harvest knowledge. We have created amazing Harvest art displays together with generous donations of food for Nourish. Each class performed a lovely Harvest song, however, this year, our families had to watch our performance on video. Here are just some examples of our Harvest activities...

Nursery have been learning about harvest time and the children have listened to the story of the Little Red Hen. We then made hedgehog rolls using a bread machine to make the dough.

In Art, Year 1 loved printing their own autumn tree landscapes, choosing beautiful autumnal colours and they created a whole class autumn tree, ready for the Harvest Festival.

In Year 4, we have been discussing the meaning of the Harvest Festival and have been working on our Harvest art. The children sketched a selection of root vegetables so that we can see them growing under the ground. After sketching, they then gave their vegetables some colour using watercolour paints and they really came to life!
