Take a look at all the activities we have completed while thinking about VE Day. This was a special moment in history - Victory in Europe. We are also experiencing our own 'moment in history' 75 years on by celebrating while in lockdown. It will be something to remember and talk about for our children in the years to come!
From creating commemorative, cups, plates and medals to virtual VE Day parties, Sacred Heart pupils played their part, documented through their personal diaries, photos, videos and poems. News of our efforts even reached royal ears – look who graced the Year 4 VE Day celebrations!
Foundation Stage have also spent this week taking part in VE day activities. They have made medals, bunting, written invitations, played wartime games, created spitfires and looked at wartime recipes.
