We were all treated to a wonderful morning of singing with a generous display of gifts for Harvest, surrounded by fantastic autumnal artwork!
Together we collected almost 20 carrier bags full of food to share with the foodbanks in Tunbridge Wells and on the East Sussex coast. Financial donations from parents, staff and pupils mean we can sponsor the installation of water towers in 10 villages in rural Uganda. Thank you to everyone for your continuing generosity which enables the Sacred Heart community to make a positive difference to the lives of those in need close to home and farther away. As always, our Harvest Assembly was a joyful celebration, with perhaps one sombre note struck by the pupils of Year 4 who reminded us of the role we can all play in protecting the environment as well as the consequences of failing to take practical action.
