A hidden gem of a school, nestled on the Kent/Sussex borders in rural Wadhurst. Sacred Heart Wadhurst is a small independent Nursery and Primary School on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.

The dedicated staff at Sacred Heart School provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral, emotional and physical development of each child. We provide high quality teaching, learning opportunities and experiences based on equally high expectations of every child. Our pupils enjoy a high degree of academic success, regularly obtaining places at their first choice of school, including passes at 11+ and Scholarships.
Learning opportunities are broad at Sacred Heart. Where possible, learning is based outdoors; children are able to enjoy outdoor play areas, an all-weather MUGA pitch and the possibility of running a Forest School is currently being explored.
The school competes regularly in Interschool sporting fixtures and in many regional and national tournaments in a range of sports including cross country, swimming, hockey, rugby, football, netball, cricket and pop lacrosse.
Children excel in art, music and drama, with many opportunities to perform both at school and regionally. As well as the usual curriculum, children are also able to learn French, Latin and most recently older pupils have an ICT specialist exploring coding and robotic engineering.
Foundation Stage are lucky to have their very own, recently built, state of the art facilities with large spacious rooms opening onto their own outdoor play area. Nursery offers flexible childcare and the whole school is able to offer full wrap around care 5 days a week as well as a variety of after school clubs.
